Each search engine has its own search algorithm, (mathematical formulas that rate sites on specific criteria)

How come my site wasn’t accepted when I submitted it to the search engines?

With many thousands of new websites appearing every day not every site is listed on the search engines. At IWM we focus on making the necessary changes to our client sites that will get them listed on all major Search Engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN).

How long does it take to see results?

It depends on the amount of competition for your selected keywords, the individual search engine’s algorithm and a myriad of other factors. IWM starts tracking your website's performance soon after accepted for inclusion. We forward results at pre-determined intervals stipulated in our contract.

Why might additional pages or content be added to my site?

Search Engines are basically series of computer programs that are programmed to rate sites on very specific things. If those things are present, the search engine gives the site a higher ranking than a site without those specific things.

Why weren’t these things done when my site was created?

Most site designers do not recognized how to create or the importance of a search engine friendly site. Usually website designers have no SEO training and don't incorporate even the most basic SEO into their sites.
